We were made very welcome at this family run hotel. When we booked in our hostess picked fresh oranges from the tree and gave them to us. The facilities are excellent. The swimming pool is large enough for serious exercise, and is surrounded by lawns with shade trees, and there are hammocks between some trees. The location is beautiful, with mountains all around. There is a nearby lake with taverna, which is a good setting off place for a hike up an amazing ravine. The adjacent restaurant is also run but the family, and is next to their fish farm: if you order fish, you can be sure of its freshness! A wonderful place to stay. We liked it so much that we returned towards the end of our touring holiday.

We very much enjoyed this paradise for the second time. The filoxenia of the family has no limits. Many thanks to Evi, Jorgos, Nikos and the staff at the taverna. The beautiful sound of the waterfalls of Zaros and the garden with roses and lovely trees make you feel relax and give you a good mood. They drove us to the lake, where you can admire nature and trouts. At the lake they also have a taverna. From the large swimming pool you can also enjoy the mountains. We certainly will come back this year.

Everything was lovely. A bright and spotless well appointed room, beautiful bathrroom. Balcony looking out onto a paradise garden . Surroundings are amazing, so beautiful. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated. The peace and quiet is a big attraction. Breakfast very good..apart from the orange juice which was orange squash I think, such a pity to cut corners like that. The variety of pastries , breads , cooked food was excellent. The swimming pool is gorgeous set in beautiful gardens .

Cleanliness was brilkant (no cats about to cause any potential mess) Really well looked after. Great facilities and staff. Just beautifully maintained and lovely hotel. Staff were lovely, friendly, helpful. . The whole experience was wonderful. The hotel taverna was great too. Lovely food. Breakfast on a great terrace. The hotel is situated somewhat in the middle of nowhere, between the mountains and nature, close to a small lake. The place had been recently renovated and had everything we required. It was a rather small but comfortable room with a real bed for our daughter instead of a sleeping couch. They had done some thinking about the lights inside, which was great for reading at night... We also had a little terrace to sit outside and enjoy the owls and bats flying by. The swimming pool was pretty big and situated in a big garden with plenty of relaxing chairs and even some hammocks. In the morning, breakfast was elaborate and good, with lots of homemade products. Furthermore, IDI also had an excellent restaurant next door, where we had a superb dinner. If you want to find rest, don't hesitate to go there!

The location is wonderful, the garden and public spaces are wonderful. The view is great. The restaurant is delicious. Everything is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Welcoming staff.

Had a great time here in the Cretan mountains. Idyllic location with views on the mountains and great sunset. Breakfast was also really nice, lots of choices. Lots of things to do on the property itself: swimming pool, hammocks, ping pong table, etc. There’s a restaurant very close by and a fish farm that you can visit. The town of Zaros is walking distance or a very short drive.

Great and interesting location with very well kept gardens. Friendly staff in all areas. The Idi Restaurant was exceptionally good, great food and excellent value for money. Hotel agreed to our 2 small dogs staying too providing us with a family room with extra outdoor space. Local walks and outdoor areas made our stay a great success.
